About the Farm

Please share a sentence or two about your farm with us.

I purchased the land and returned it to an agricultural property and protected wetlands with the goal of growing organic botanical crops for Macrene Actives and for nurturing a toxin-free natural wildlife zone in the Hudson Valley.

Which ingredients do you grow there?

A long list!!!! Arnica, 4 types of Sage, 4 types of Mint, 4 types of Lavender, 2 types of Rosemary, 4 types of Thyme, Eucalyptus, Echinacea, Calendula, Foxglove, Goji Berry, Borage, Ageratum, Epazote, Basil, Feverfew, Chamomile, Comfry, 4 types of Verbena, Bay leaf, Dill, Fennel, Garlic, Chrysanthemums, Tenacetum, Pennyroyal, Goldenrod, Milk Thistle, Grapes, Rhododendron, and many others that I will list.

Are there any special farming practices you use?

Organic practices and rotate the crops each year.

Any there any other notable bits of info that you want to share about your farm?

I have a log home on the property and live as close to nature as possible. We have wild coyotes, deer, owls, falcons, and in the streams and pond, black bass are teeming. I planted 40 trees this spring, including White Pine and Northern Spruce. My land is home to many bees because it is chemical free.
